The company reserves the right to alter itineraries as and when necessary, to replace or substitute alternative accommodation, transport, and sightseeing services and activities as necessary. The company reserves the right to increase the holiday cost as advertised should there be increases in costs of airfares, transport, accommodation or sightseeing services and activities, or any other contributing factor that may increase the prices of the advertised holiday such as overseas currency rates alterations and airline surcharges.
No refund shall be made for any unused services included in the total price. In the event of the activity being cancelled due to unfavourable weather condition or similar, Kiwi Travel and Tours will provide as best an alternative as it possibly can at no additional charge.
Kiwi Travel and Tours as operator or agent, completes all tour arrangements on the condition that it shall assume no responsility or liability for any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may occur either directly or indirectly from any defect in any vehicle, vessel or equipment, or through neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or carrying out our arrangements of the tours or otherwise in connection with the tours.
Further, Kiwi Travel and Tours is not responsible for medical problems encountered before, during or after the tour; strike; thefts; force majeure; acts of terrorism; government restrictions or regulations; discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel and other services over which it has no control.
The company is not responsible for any costs which may be incurred by participants as a result of events that are beyond the company’s control. For example, these could be strikes, industrial action, weather, and or any other man made or natural occurrence.
Skiing, skydiving, snowboarding, river sledging, bungy jumping and all other sports or extreme sporting activities carry an element of risk. Kiwi Travel and Tours, as operator or agent, completes all tour and activity arrangements on the condition that it shall assume no responsibilty or liability for any injury, disabiity, or death relating to the carrying out of any activity booked through or by Kiwi Travel and Tours.
All bookings are subject to the normal conditions of Kiwi Travel and Tours which are available upon request. In the event that there are insufficient number of participants on a particular departure Kiwi Travel and Tours Ltd reserves the right to withdraw this departure and to offer an alternative date and/or tour or full refund of monies paid to date.
Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing by the person who signed the original booking or services cotract form and is not effective until such cancellation has been received by Kiwi Travel and Tours Ltd. The following conditions apply:
90 to 61 days prior to tour departure date - LOSS OF DEPOSIT
60 days or less to tour commencement date - 100% OF THE TOTAL TOUR COST
F.I.T. Customers - Once Tickets/Vouchers are issued there is a no-refund policy. If the holiday is cancelled before tickets/Vouchers are issued (issued refers to generation of documents by Kiwi Travel and Tours not when they are received by the client) then an administration fee of 10% of the value of the package or $500 whichever is greater, will be retained by Kiwi Travel and Tours. Please be aware that once payments are made on your behalf that any refund will be at the behest of the service provider and is not controlled by Kiwi Travel and Tours. Any refunds will be tranferred to the client using the exchange rate that is applicable on the day. Bank transfer charges will be deducted.
